Graduation Ceremony

On Thursday the school called to inform Miguel that the next night (last night), they would be presenting certificates to the graduates of secundario (junior high).

Miguel studied numerous subjects over almost a year, and passed his last test in the summer. Now he has the papers to show for his hard work.

Next - bachilleres, senior high.

I have had a doctorate for a long time, but would be terrified to face middle school algebra again! Miguel tiene cajones grande!

Super congratulations! To set out to correct something we don't want to stay with us from our past is beyond admirable. Most of us can hardly toddle along and hope to take care of the pressing needs of today. I'm in awe, and now determined to catch up with my own shortcomings! (I need to write that text...)
