This evening Maya decided to jump up on the stool, knocking over everything with a crash. So Miguel emptied the box and put it on the floor in the living room. It quickly became a new playground for the cats.
You can't tell, but the box is resting on angle, held up by the bottom flap...
Maya is the queen, while Smokey and Minina look on
Luna came around to bother Maya and she managed to knock out the bottom leaf which scared Maya out of the box. Luna quickly claimed the throne. Maya came back to challenge for it.
By putting her full weight on the top of the box, Maya got her way.

Cats can be so entertaining with boxes and paperbags. Smokey is a Russian Blue and about 35#. He loves to crawl in paper grocery bags and how he gets in and turn round is mystery to me. If there is a piece of paper out, he thinks he must sit on it. His favorite thing to do though is when Ed goes to read the newspaper he gets into a position to whack his tale against it while Ed tries to read.They all have such personalities :) Dujy

So funny! Cats aren't all that different from kids. I have a photo of Michael in his Fisher Price Coaster Wagon box. He got the coaster wagon for Christmas and liked the box better!
Oh so cute! You need a box for each cat. Then they will fight for only one.
I love to see a cat play with a bag or box! They can be entertained & entertainING for hours!!!
